Increasing Load Test

Note: This test verifies the scale's accuracy as weight increases from zero to capacity.

Decreasing Load Test

Note: This test verifies the scale's accuracy as weight decreases from capacity to zero.

For scales with n ≥ 1000: Test loads equal to maximum test load at each tolerance breakpoint.

For scales with n < 1000: Test load equal to half of maximum load applied in increasing load test.

Shift Test

Note: For scales ≤ 500 kg (1000 lb): Use 1/3 nominal capacity test load (30-35% of scale capacity) centered at each quadrant.

For scales > 500 kg (1000 lb): Either use 1/3 nominal capacity OR 1/4 nominal capacity test load at each corner.
